BURGERSFORT – The local Spur restaurant introduced an exciting competition for their clients in the platinum town.

Bust-a-Burger SURPRISE is a competition invented by the store in order to give back to local communities and to create friendships with various clients and outlets.

According to Mr Themba Ndlovu, Burgersfort Spur’s operational manager, Bust-a-Burger SURPRISE is a concept where they surprise people with free delicious Spur burgers and a taste for life. Ndlovu briefly explained the competitions’s rules and procedures.

“You simply nominate your class, work colleagues, sports team, or any other community group. Tell us why you think they deserve a “surprise treat”, he said.

He added that applicants needed to email the nominee’s name, a brief motivation, and the number of people to be catered for, as well as the venue for the surprise. Those receiving the free burgers, also get a R50 voucher to spend at Spur. For more on the Bust-a-burger rules, people can visit the restaurant for more details.

This week, the lucky nominees who received the free meals were the staff at Burgersfort Pharmacy. Steelburger/Lydenburg News saw the Spur team ambushing the workers with free and scrumptious burgers. The staff vowed to visit the restaurant to buy more meals. The Bust-a-burger SURPRISE has been ambushing locals for the past 22 weeks.
