Battle for power supply continues

Chrome is used to block the road.

BURGERSFORT – Schoolchildren and workers had a torrid time this past week as most could not report for classes or work.The ongoing protest by Riba Cross residents affected most locals.Five truck drivers were forced to offload chrome between the Riba Cross and Steelpoort intersection. On Tuesday two trucks belonging to Nida were used to blockade the junction. The residents complained about the electrical project Operation Mabone which they say was left unfinished.
