BREAKING NEWS: Nine French tourists injured in bus crash

LYDENBURG – Nine French tourists were injured when a Megacouch bus lost control on the Dullstroom road this evening.

A total of 31 tourists travelling from Johannesburg to the Kruger National Park were involved in the accident.

All nine sustained slight to moderate injuries. Heavy rain and a slippery road surface contributed to the accident.

According to Deon Broekman of N3 Rapid response, all nine injured were treated on scene and transported to Middelburg hospital.

The remaining 22 tourists were taken to Dullstroom for lodging.

N3 Rapid Response, ER24 and Netcare 911 were praised for their swift response.
