Youngsters roll woods towards the jacks

Keaton Erasmus and Annetjie Moller.

Bowling is said to be a game for the elderly, but these youngsters are proof that the game has changed.

The youngest members from different bowling clubs in Mpumalanga attended a productive practice day at Lydenburg Bowling Club on Saturday.

These bowlers stand a chance to represent the province at the national games that will take place next year.

As part of preparations, they will partake in several practice games to get them fit and ready for selection.

The bowlers are from Lydenburg, Waterval Boven, Middelburg, Mbombela Bowling Club and Groblersdal.

Mr Jerry Gertzen is the coach of these players and is teaching them all they need to know.
